Thanks Volunteer Painters!
Thanks to the nine volunteers for the Pico Ski Club paint day on Saturday, June 7!
We accomplished a number of projects, including the front overhang as well as entrance ways, concrete walls, picnic table, wood racks, windows trimmed and touch up around the building.
We still have approximately 30-40 hours of projects to be completed late summer/early fall, and will be announcing upcoming work days to accomplish these additional tasks.
Many thanks to Bill Truex, Ted Manning, Rich Westburg, Chris Smid, John McClallen, Dave Ferraro, Alden Franzoni, Scott Mangan and Andy Alexander, who gave three hours on a beautiful Saturday morning to pitch in and prevent us from hiring this work. We’ll be asking again in a few months – hopefully we get a few different helpers.
We’ve completed a lighting project in the downstairs as we try to make the space more inviting for those busy winter weekends. We have a few smaller projects that can be completed by one-two volunteers. If you’re available to take on a two-hour project – please let us know.
Enjoy the summer that has FINALLY arrived!
